(Questions)How long have you been with Blood Run RP? : I joined the server just before the name changed from BloodRun to Borealis, which was several months ago.

Why do you want to join the CCA? : I think I've pretty much reached the limit of roleplaying-related entertainment that can be gotten from wandering around the city, joining the resistance, getting arrested, and dying.  I want to do something other than be a standard citizen, and you "NEED MPF!"  Everyone wins, right?  And also, I'd like to improve the "resistance" part of the previously mentioned cycle by having the ability to become an undercover rebel within the CCA.

Why should we accept your application(OOC Reason) : To be perfectly honest, I can't provide any clear reason why you should accept me, beyond that you can tell I'm not here to destroy the server.  I also can't find any reason why you wouldn't, so why not?  After all, the server has "NEED MPF!" in the title on the server browser.

Do you have past experience with this faction? Give evidence if so. : I do not have previous experience playing as a Metro-Cop or other variety of Combine law enforcement, but I've definitely observed other people's examples of how to do it.  I also bothered to read the rest of the Metropolice subforum before submitting this.

How long have you roleplayed? How long have you roleplayed on this server? : I've been playing for two years or so on the Minecraft RP server "Realm of the Overlord," and I've played on this server for... several months?  Since the name changed from BloodRun to Borealis.

Are you mature, Friendly, and tend not to complain? : I am mature, reasonably accepting of other players, and don't complain unless something is completely broken and I'm stuck in a wall.  Even then, that's more like asking for help.

What is your reason for applying for a spot in the Combine Civil Administration? : I wish to defend my fellow citizens from the various threats that currently plague City 18.  The food and payment benefits are merely a beneficial side effect.

What do you have to offer to the Universal Union? : Admittedly, I have very little training with firearms or other ranged weapons.  However, I am equipped with advanced knowledge of melee combat, a background in vehicle mechanics and engineering, and an unfailing devotion to the Universal Union.

What conditions do your family members have? : My mother professes to have a weak heart, but nothing has ever come of this.  My brother has a slightly damaged eye, but is otherwise in the peak of health.  My father is, well, dead.

What conditions have you had in the past? : I am unsure if this counts as a condition, but I have had a number of minor injuries, many of which could have been prevented if the City had more Civil Protection defending it.

Do you need glasses or contacts to see well? : No.

     My name is Stephen Lane.  I was born to Jonathan and Susan Lane in a small town outside of London, England.  I tended to get around the B+ range in school, and was reasonably active, if not exactly captain of the football team.  My father, an engineer by trade, taught me all he could before he was sadly killed in an accident at work.

     Because my father provided my family's only real source of income, I was unable to attend a university.  Instead, I used what I already knew of engineering for a more practical purpose-- repairing automobiles.  It was good honest work, and reasonably profitable, too.

     And then, of course, the Union came to town.  My family and I were processed and assigned numbers as well as such a thing could be done.  I was then separated from my family, and shipped off to City 8.  It wasn't really that big of an event for me; I was never really all that close to them (my mother or Geoff).  I had a fairly comfortable job there maintaining APCs for the C08 Overwatch.  They wanted to formally recruit me into the CCA, but I turned them down, because they had quite enough officers and not nearly enough mechanics.

     It seems the Administrators over there didn't take too kindly to this, because I got shipped around quite a lot after that.  I spent a month or two each in 45, 17, and 17's Industrial District.  Somewhere along the line, someone forgot about the perceived slight against them, and I ended up more or less permanently here, in City 18.  It seems like it could be quite a nice place to live, if it was a bit safer.  Hence why I've submitted this application: I want to make City 18 a safe place to live for loyal citizens of the Universal Union.
