Write your occupations before the war : Store clerk, putting supplies on shelves, included some heavy lifting.
Write your life story up to now. (3 paragraph minimum) I was born in a small town in Louisiana, with two siblings. I would pick on them, playing violent games together, with me coming out the victor the majority of the time. Many of the games resulted in bruises and occasionally fractures, but no actual bones were majorly broken. The 'games' were fun, but they taught me how to pick on kids. I'd like to say they were a negative influence on my life, but it was just kids having harmless fun. I think so, at least.
When I was in middleschool, I had a male principal. He always scared the life out of all the kids there, including me. My habit of picking on kids was still going strong, and I remember one day I was beating the tar out of this kid. Just going at him. The principal walked up to me, and I dropped everything- including the kid -and apologized. He called my parents in, of course, and I got in some major trouble. I guess I've always been a sucker for authority figures. From then on, throughout school, I was a role-model of a kid. Did my homework, got all A's, and never harmed a fly in that school again. The perfect behavior continued through high-school.
In college, I majored in computer sciences and electrical engineering. I minored in psychology, but I considered that more of a hobby, doing experiments on my friends, that sort of thing. I guess I can still remember some of it, but it's mostly just jumbled up in the sciences and engineering. The double-major was a hard choice to make, and it was even harder to carry out. I was stressed out throughout my entire stay at college, no time for parties, nothing. Just working, working, working. In a way, the life style fit me, but my mind didn't want to be doing it. It was listening to the hormones telling me to go out and party, but I didn't let it. I finally managed to pass college, getting a bachelor's degree.
After college, I couldn't really find many jobs for what I majored in. The opportunities were around me, but I could never get a hold of them. I just resorted to being a store clerk, stocking shelves, the like. It wasn't fun work, but it paid. Started the job in my early twenties, and it carried until I arrived at the city. That happened pretty quickly, all I remember is some guy in a suit kicking in my window. A really big, bulky guy, with eyes bluer than the sea. Then the world went black, and next thing I knew I was on a train.
Train pulled into the station and I got off with everyone else, clutching a suitcase like it was my lifeline for some reason. After a brief walk about outside, I caught the eye of a unit, like the one I remember from the store, but not as bulky. His eyes were the same vivid shade of blue, and they scared the life out of me. After I managed to work up some courage, I went and I asked him about how I'd manage to join him. He pointed me in the direction of this office, and here I am now, filling out an application.
